A total of 229 foreign migrants were rescued by elements of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) in the municipality of Puente Nacional, Veracruz, after being found inside a tractor-trailer reported stolen. The Public Security Secretariat reiterated that it will maintain coordinated operations to combat crimes related to human trafficking and guarantee the protection of the human rights of the migrant population.
